Hi, I’m Jennifer!
Delicious Everyday is all about sharing everyday vegetarian whole food recipes that are approachable, and practical for everyday life.
My focus is on fresh seasonal ingredients, celebrating good healthy whole foods (none of that packaged crap). My recipes are always vegetarian, sometimes vegan, and sometimes gluten-free. My most recent recipes are almost all dairy free since I recently was diagnosed as lactose intolerant. I try to identify in the recipe title what specific diets each recipe may suit. You can also browse my recipes by category on my recipe index.
While I don’t have a formal background in cooking, I’ve loved food and cooking from a young age. And like many home cooks, I’ve learned through trial and error, cuts, burns, and research, the secrets to delicious everyday meals that don’t require hours in the kitchen or cost the earth.
I love cookbooks and find it impossible to walk past a bookshop without going in to browse their cookbook collection, and more often than not, I find myself adding new books to my ever growing collection. I also collect shoes! Carrie Bradshaw and I could be shoe buddies as I’m equally obsessed with pretty heels.
I live in Brisbane, Australia, with my carnivorous husband Troy, who thankfully, loves my vegetarian cooking. In fact, he loves it so much he’s often trying to convince he carnivorous friends to try my vegetarian recipes. His all time favourite are my mushroom quinoa burgers.
In my spare time, in between browsing cookbooks, I can be found with a camera or dishes in my hand, as I also have a food photography and food styling business. Never in a million years did I think I’d be doing this for a living! Dreams do come true!
If you make any of my recipes I’d love to hear from you. Leave a comment on the recipe or tag me on Instagram using #deliciouseveryday so that I can see. It will totally make my day! You can also attach a photo in a comment on the recipe.
