You'll never have to worry about what to bring to a party after you learn how to make this delicious fall snack mix! It's quick and delicious—what more could you want?

    the perfect fall treat!

Don't you just love everything about fall?

My favorite part is all the beautiful colors, the sweater weather, and the pumpkin recipes galore!

But I also love coordinating my snack with the beautiful, changing colors of the leaves. Because who doesn't love it when things match?

This fall snack mix recipe features some of my favorite fall candy - candy corn! Yes, it's full of sugar, but it makes a great addition to this snack mix! It's perfect for parties all season long.

Plus, it's super sweet, which I love! It's great for munching on and leaving out for guests while you get the main course prepped.

But if you're putting this out before dinner, I'd suggest something savory for dinner to balance out the palate - something like a delicious butternut squash curry.

This fall snack mix is perfect for munching on during your favorite Halloween movie or while you're snuggled up under a blanket with your favorite book. It'll make you wish every season way fall.

    let's make fall snack mix!

The first step to any recipe is to gather your ingredients!

You'll notice this recipe calls for cereal and pretzels. In these pictures, you'll see we used cinnamon Life cereal, but I prefer the gluten free option, Rice Chex cereal.

And you can opt for some gluten-free pretzels too!

And of course, just like I mentioned in my mummy cupcakes recipe, I always prefer vegan marshmallows. So make sure to pick some of those up for your fall snack mix! (This is the best vegan marshmallow brand.)

And just to make things a little more fun, I like to get two types of candy corn: the original and the pumpkin shaped. It's just more fun that way!

And then what would fall be without the perpetually fall-colored Reese's Pieces? I can't get enough of them!

Once you've gathered all your ingredients together, add them to a large mixing bowl and mix your heart away!

My one pro tip is to put the kettle corn on the bottom first, and then add in this order: cereal, pretzels, marshmallows, candy corn, Reese's Pieces.

The candy will sink to the bottom, so it's better to make sure it starts on the top, and hopefully you can get it to stay well mixed in at all levels.

    And that's it! Quick, huh?

And then I love to make things fun and pour the fall snack mix into a pumpkin bowl. Then not only does it taste great, but it looks great too!

Now, on its own, this fall snack mix is delicious, but I like to add just one more thing to make it even tastier: salted caramel sauce.
