1. Vegan chocolate cake {vegan + dairy free}
Yes, another chocolate recipe. It is clear you all love chocolate as much as I do. This time it is a gorgeously simple vegan chocolate cake. It is good. Really good! I’ve had so many emails about this cake with readers telling me how fantastic it is and that their vegan and non vegan friends alike loved this cake. Apparently it also makes great cupcakes too, although I’ve yet to try it myself.
So there you have it. The most popular recipes of 2014. Did you have a favourite? If so I’d love to hear about it in the comments section.

He there, I just discovered your blog and wanted to say how much I LOVE all the recipes and photos you have here! You truly have a gift for photography and food styling, not to mention developing delicious and yet also healthy recipes..I see so many that look awesome! I think that you have a great blog, thanks so much for sharing your creative recipes and photos..I think your photos are some of the best on the web! And I think that pressure to perform is so awful and I’ve been so affected by that too..I think you should post when you want to and just do it for yourself..nobody else has to approve, because it’s a perfect expresssion of who you are and your creativity, and how could that be anything less than perfect and wonderful?!

I’ll see your doubt and raise you some! Yours words rang so true to me – enough for me to stop and say hi for the first time! I’ve made your chickpea crackers twice now and they’re going be be served up with labne and preserved lemon on Friday – so easy and versatile. And delicious. Thank you!

Thank you for saying hi Nancy 😀 and I’m sorry to hear you’ve been feeling the same. I love the idea of serving labne and preserved lemon with them. Thanks for the suggestion.

My favourite is definitely the vegan chocolate cake. I made it for my sisters birthday and everyone loved it. I then made it to take into work for morning tea and now I get asked to make it all the time. Everyone just loves it. Thank you

I wondered where you had gotten to. I agree it is very hard to compete in these days of popularity by follower. it is impossible to be everywhere unless you have all the secrets to cureation…..Anyway. your photos and recipes are beautiful as they always have been and know we all (mostly) suffer from these feelings.

Oh I know we all do. It is sad that we do though. I do think that social media has a lot to do with it, sadly. Here’s to a wonderful, and more confident 2015 for us both 😀
